What's New in My Closet

AKA some recent purchases.

Unfortunately I don't have photos for the first 2 items. They need to be dry cleaned since strap from my Chanel purse transferred black dye. I hate it when that happens!

T. Babaton Silk Blouse (in pale blue, not black)

Wilfred Bustier Top (in ice age (a pale blue color), not delphinium)
These were purchased from Aritzia during the Snooze You Lose Sale, not the warehouse sale.

Unfortunately (but fortunately for my wallet), I didn't buy much in Vegas. Surprisingly my boyfriend bought way more than I did for once!

Seven for All Mankind Roxanne Skinnies

Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in Natural Beauty. I should've shopped more at Sephora since it's cheaper than ours in Canada and the tax in Vegas was only 8.1%!

Since I've been back I've only online shopped. No time for the mall!

Chiffon Blouse from Bluenotes

Lace Tank from Bluenotes

Forever 21 is having a buy one get one free Labour Day sale so I also bought some times. $76 after tax for 12 pieces is pretty good! Here's what I ordered:
Neon Polka Dot Print Romper

Sheer Lace Panel Tunic

Chiffon Trimmer Trapeze Tank

Boxy Eyelash Lace Top

Striped Woven Tank

Flowers & Rosettes Tank
Not a fan of the rosettes so I'll see if I can remove them.

Lace Tank Top

High Back Swing Tank

Tie-Dye Trapeze Tank

Lace Back Trapeze Tank

Denim Cutoffs

Knit One Shoulder Bandage Dress

Whew, that was a lot of stuff to post. I think I'm done back to school shopping, then again I always say I'm "done" shopping :)

Wallet Woes

Saturday, Boyfriend and I went to Richmond Center since we were bored and needed something to do to kill time. I wasn't planning to make it a mini shopping day but I obviously have no self control...

Outfit to the mall:
Lace Tank || Wilfred
Sweater/Cardigan || Forever 21
Braided Belt || Forever 21
Leggings || Gap

... here's what I made it out of the mall with. Darn Artizia and their Snooze You Lose sales. I forced myself to look since I was in the area per say lol
Wilfred Bustier Tank $17.50 Reg. $35.00
Love this. I have a few them and they're staple pieces. I needed one for spring and that wasn't black/white/grey. Score!

Wilfred Silk Kimono Sweater/Cardigan $69.99 Reg. $165
I was originally going to get  the blue/white combination but I thought I'd get more use out of this one..

Sunday, I went down to Seattle with a few friends. I wasn't expecting to buy anything at all since there was only one thing on my mind the entire road trip down..
Guess what it is!

Boxing Day Shopping 2011

This is the first time I've gone Boxing Day shopping in a long time. The last few years I skipped out since there wasn't anything specific I wanted. I also hate the crowds and line ups to pay. This year I went to Park Royal mall  because I knew it would be less busy than Metrotown and I also wasn't interested in heading downtown because it pouring rain. Happy I went to Park Royal since it wasn't very busy at the one store I wanted to go to.

Outfit of the day (featuring my boyfriend)

On me:
Top || Wilfred
Blazer || Forever 21
Stirrup Leggings || Bluenotes
Scarf || Zara

On him:
Top || J. Lindeberg
Cardigan || Banana Republic
Jeans || True Religion

First stop of the day, Aritzia, of course! The store opened at 7AM and we arrived around 7:20. The store had a fair number of customers, but it would be considered dead compared to Metrotown or downtown. I was hoping to get a couple of Wilfred blouses but they seemed to have put them away (or I wasn't looking hard enough). The one item I really wanted to get was a new peacoat. I already have a few black and grey peacoats so I was aiming to get a camel colored one. Managed to succeed in getting one! It'll most likely go a bit cheaper in the next few weeks but my size sells out fast so it's now or never haha.

Not much of a sale.. $298 down to $275, but again, now or never because my size will most likely sell out!

Besides the coat, I didn't buy anything else today for myself. I bought my boyfriend the cardigan he's wearing above. I took the pictures after we went shopping, got home, and went back out again for dinner so that's why it's featured in the outfit of the day. His cardigan was $35, regular $110 so that was a good deal in my books. I'm not sure what the material is though, I think it said Italian wool.

Overall, good shopping day. I didn't overspend and got exactly what I needed :) Hope all of you Boxing Day shoppers had a good day too!
