Spring is in the Air

Back again.. and now it's actually spring, but not really in Vancouver haha. It's raining right now as per usual. On the bright side April showers bring May flowers?

I've been a busy bee lately, not getting much shopping done at all unless it's online. I think I'm accustomed to shopping online now. I love the feeling of receiving packages at my door and nothing feels worse than seeing a missed packaged slip haha. But yeah, school has consumed my life! I think I've only gone to the mall two or three times since I last blogged and one time it was just to return something. No shopping done!

Here's a compilation of some things I've accumulated. (Sorry for the Picstitch overload hehe.) I'm proud of myself for actually buying some spring clothes, meaning not dark colored.

Circle Scarf from Old Navy

Floral Circle Scarf from American Eagle

Floral Top from Old Navy

Sheer Button Tanks from H&M.
These were really cute and only $13 each. Had to get 2 haha.

Mint Colored Denim from Gap Kids
Sorry for the creases! They just arrived today so they haven't been ironed.

Lace Shorts from Gap Kids

Andddd last but not least, I took another trip to the States. Almost left empty handed until I went to the Seattle Premium Outlet and found this!! I was so happy to find this. I mentioned in my previous post that I bought the rose gold version and now after wearing it for a few weeks I was itching to get the gold version too. Just my luck. This was only $99!

Downside: There are a few scuffs on the band near the back (see picture), but otherwise it's perfect. No scratches on the face which is the most important to me. For the price I can't complain!

In other news, I also officially book my trip to the Dominican Republic! I'm so excited to get away from Vancouver and relax for a week. I leave in exactly two weeks from today. I bought two more new bathing suits for my trip as well. Both from Old Navy. They worked about to be about $12.50 for each piece.

I'm Still Here!

Hey all!

I want to apologize about the lack of my blogging. I'm still here.. Just going through a bit of a rough time in my life. A pet of mine recently passed away so I've been taking some time to grieve and settle down. Aside from that, school is consuming my life with midterms and group projects. On top of all this, someone also vandalized my car(?). My dad woke me up Thursday and asked why there was giant dent in my car. I had no idea what he was talking about and went out to look. The dent was definitely not from another car door and more so looked like someone hit it with something. There were scratch marks around the dent too. The part that worries me the most is that I think it happened at the back of my house over night. My car was taken out the day before by my boyfriend but before returning it he circled it to make sure nothing was wrong. The dent was pretty noticeable as even I saw it without corrected vision and he has 20/20 vision so he couldn't have missed it. Definitely not the best few weeks of my life, but hopefully things will start looking up.

During this time while procrastinating from studying I also decided that I need to take a vacation. I have never taken a break from school and go every single semester, including the summer. Usually I still get a one week break between semesters depending on when finals end so I decided to take advantage of it since I get off especially early this semester!

Destination? Dominican Republic!
I'm super excited to be going (although I haven't booked it yet)! I'm just waiting for my passport to clear and I'll be booking it asap. Looking forward to one week of sun, warmth, and buffets since Raincouver hasn't been very nice. This will be my first trip out of North America and the first time I'm travelling without my parents. I'll be going with my boyfriend so that'll be interesting. He's not much of a traveller but I am so hopefully this sparks the inner travel bug in him!

Home for a week (I hope!)

Case in point? Bathing suit shopping! So far I've purchased one bathing suit and plan to buy one more. I'm not really big on spending much on bathing suits since I rarely go to the beach anyway so something budget friendly and cute was a must.

This one is from Old Navy. I literally just ordered it, went back on the page and it's pretty much all sold out now! I hope my order ships.
I love the floral on this bathing suit and that the top has undewire support. Also it was a good price, ~$16 a piece (on sale).

Here's the second set I'm looking at. It's from Garage.
I really like the top in this set since it can be worn as a halter or bandeau and it has ruffles. I'll probably wear it as a bandeau though so I don't get any tan lines! This one is also cheap at ~$19 per piece.

I might wait a bit to buy this one since bathing suit season hasn't exactly begun yet. I'm sure plenty of other designs will be coming out.

Happy swim suit shopping if anyone else is starting early!
